BetterTime Co., a Delaware corporation ("BetterTime," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This Website Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.
This Site is where organizations such as employers, universities, and community groups learn about BetterYou and request a demo. If you use the BetterYou mobile application or our website at www.betteryou.ai, our main BetterYou Privacy Policy applies to that use instead.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you request a demo or ask us to contact you, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, your organization, your work email address, and the approximate size of your organization or group. If you book a meeting through the scheduling calendar on the Site, you give your booking details (such as your name, email address, and chosen time) to Google Calendar, which shares them with us so we can hold the meeting.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect device and technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, and the pages you view. We also collect information about how you interact with the Site, as described in Section 2.
2. Website Analytics, Cookies, and Session Recording
We use Microsoft Clarity, an analytics service provided by Microsoft, to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. Clarity captures how you interact with our pages, including mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and the pages you visit. It uses this to produce session recordings (replays of a visit) and heatmaps. Clarity is configured to mask the text you type into form fields, so the contents of your form entries are not captured in recordings. Clarity may set cookies (such as _clck and _clsk) and use similar technologies to recognize your browser across pages and visits. Microsoft processes this information under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
We also record actions such as clicking a "Get a demo" button, opening our product tour, or submitting a demo-request form, so we can understand which parts of the Site are useful.
Your choices.
- EEA, UK, and Switzerland. If you appear to be visiting from these regions, Clarity does not run and sets no cookies unless you click "Accept" on our cookie banner.
- Everywhere else. Clarity runs when you arrive, and we show a notice explaining it. You can turn it off at any time by clicking "Decline" on the notice or on "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. When you decline, we stop loading Clarity and delete its cookies from your browser for this Site.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out, and Clarity does not run.
- We save your choice in your browser's local storage so that we don't ask you again. If you clear your browser data, we will ask again.
We also use the following services, which may receive your IP address and similar technical information when the Site loads them:
- Google Fonts, to display the Site's typefaces.
- Google Calendar appointment scheduling, embedded on our "Book a demo" page.
- YouTube, embedded to show our product tour video. YouTube may set its own cookies when you play the video.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your demo request and schedule and hold meetings with you;
- communicate with you about BetterYou and how it could work for your organization (you can ask us to stop at any time);
- understand how visitors use the Site and improve its content, design, and performance;
- protect the Site against spam, fraud, and abuse; and
- comply with legal obligations.
No sale of personal data; no targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.
4. When We Share Information
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We use third-party providers to operate the Site, including Google (Firebase Hosting, Google Fonts, and Google Calendar scheduling), Microsoft (Clarity analytics), Web3Forms (delivery of demo-request form submissions to our team), and YouTube (video playback). They may access personal information only to perform services for us, or as described in their own privacy policies for the services they provide directly to you.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BetterTime, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If BetterTime is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Website Privacy Policy.
5. Data Retention
We keep demo-request and meeting information for as long as needed to respond to you and to manage our business relationship with you and your organization, and otherwise as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. After that it is deleted or de-identified. Analytics data collected through Clarity is kept for the period set by Microsoft's service.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Regardless of where you live, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or a portable copy of it, by contacting privacy@betteryou.ai.

Depending on your state of residence (including under laws such as the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act and similar laws in other states), you may have the right to: confirm whether we process your personal data; access it and obtain a portable copy; correct inaccuracies; delete it; opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling (as noted above, we do not sell personal data or engage in targeted advertising); and obtain a list of the categories of third parties to which we have disclosed personal data. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@betteryou.ai. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line "Privacy Appeal"; if your appeal is unsuccessful, you may contact your state attorney general.

If you visit the Site from these regions, we process your personal data on the legal bases of your consent (for Clarity analytics, which you may withdraw at any time through "Cookie settings"), steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract (for responding to your demo request), and our legitimate interests in operating, improving, and securing the Site where not overridden by your rights. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Verification. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
7. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for professionals acting on behalf of organizations. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@betteryou.ai and we will delete it.
8. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Transfers
BetterTime is based in the United States, and the Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States (and other countries where our service providers operate), where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site embeds services operated by third parties (such as Google Calendar and YouTube) and links to other websites. Those third parties handle your information under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
11. Changes to This Website Privacy Policy
We may update this Website Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and post the updated policy on the Site.
